How long does FairThen keep my bill and expense data?

We keep it for longer than you will probably need. Here is how the timing works:

• A group runs for about 2.5 years before it locks itself and asks you to Start Fresh. This archives that whole cycle to a CSV you can download, and carries every outstanding balance forward.
• If nobody does it by hand, we run it automatically once the group reaches 4 years old.
• Those CSV archives are then kept for 3 years.
• Separately, a deleted expense sits in the trash for 30 days. You can restore it before it goes for good.​

You can also export any group to CSV or PDF whenever you like.
